Celebrating Our Momentum and the Community Behind It
Yesterday, Inspiration’s Edge gathered with performers, volunteers, partners, and supporters for an annual event that captures everything we're about: our Season Announcement & Karaoke Luncheon.
Equal parts fundraising, reflection, and celebration (and joyful chaos), the event was an opportunity to be open and transparent with our IE community to take a look back at everything we accomplished in our first year before officially stepping into what’s next.
Because at Inspiration’s Edge, theatre isn’t just something you watch. It’s something you experience together.
Year in Review: A First Year That Exceeded Expectations
We shared our very first Year in Review Annual Report, reflecting on a first fiscal year that laid a strong, sustainable foundation for the future.
Some highlights we were proud to share:
Fiscal Responsibility
Closed our first year with over $7,000 in reserves and zero debt
The vast majority of funds went directly into programming and production
Mobile Mission
Performed across Twentynine Palms, Yucca Valley, and Palm Springs
Brought theatre into parks and recreation facilities, local businesses, and partner venues, including other nonprofit community theatres
Committed to Quality
3 Desert Theatre League Awards for Late Company, our first fully staged production
Committed to Integrity
Platinum-level transparency on Candid (GuideStar)
Active members of Desert Theatre League, American Association of Community Theatres, CalNonprofits, CA Community Theatres, and Basin Wide Foundation
2025–2026 Fiscal Year: Momentum So Far
