marks an exciting moment in our journey as a growing mobile community theatre: the expansion of our board of directors. As Inspiration’s Edge continues to strengthen its foundation and widen its circle of creativity, we are thrilled to welcome five extraordinary leaders whose experience, heart, and dedication reflect everything our mission stands for.
Please join us in celebrating our newest board members: Heidi Marshall, John Pollnow, Robert Nagby, Emily Riley, and Jericho McNeltier — with Robert also stepping into the role of Treasurer.
Together, they bring decades of combined experience across the arts, nonprofit leadership, community service, education, technical theatre, chaplaincy, real estate, improvisation, and beyond. But more importantly, they each bring a shared passion for creating safe, inclusive, collaborative spaces where community theatre can truly thrive.
Meet Our New Board Members

Heidi Marshall — Champion of Inclusivity & Community Care
Heidi’s journey with IE began backstage, running lights and sound with a steady hand and a generous heart. With nearly 30 years of property management and real estate experience, she has mastered the art of leadership, mentorship, and seeing people’s strengths clearly. Heidi believes deeply in creating spaces where every volunteer and artist feels safe, respected, and valued — because when people feel appreciated, they shine. She now lends her expertise to both the Volunteer & Personnel Committee and the ICMP Committee, helping us grow responsibly, welcome new volunteers, and nurture our community-first culture.

John Pollnow — Advocate for Safe, Authentic Storytelling
John brings a remarkable blend of artistic passion, spiritual care, and nonprofit leadership. With advanced degrees in theatre, theology, and intercultural studies — and currently serving as a Naval Chaplain in Japan — he understands the transformative power of story and the importance of safe, supportive environments.John spent years as a local pastor in Twentynine Palms, where he led one of the region’s fastest-growing congregations, and he is excited to help IE cultivate a culture where directors and actors alike can take creative risks rooted in emotional truth.

Robert Nagby — Treasurer & Lifelong Theatre Artisan
From backstage artistry to financial stewardship, Robert bridges technical craft and practical leadership. With a BA in Theatre (Design/Technical) and 20 years in financial services, he brings an invaluable mix of creativity and precision to our board.Robert believes theatre should feel inviting, accessible, and close to home. His thoughtful approach to analysis, design, and dramaturgy enriches our artistic conversations, while his financial expertise helps ensure IE grows sustainably. We are honored to welcome him as Treasurer for Inspiration’s Edge.

Emily Riley — Advocate for Creative Safety & Accessibility
Emily’s passion for community theatre stems from her belief that the arts thrive when people feel safe to express themselves. After volunteering at several IE events, she became inspired by our use of “found spaces” and our commitment to creating authentic, inclusive environments across the Hi-Desert.With strong experience in Google Workspace, Canva, community outreach, and local engagement — including the Twentynine Palms Run Club — Emily brings fresh energy, strategic thinking, and a heart for service to our board.

Jericho McNeltier — Performer, Innovator & Collaboration Advocate
Jericho has been a vibrant force in Hi-Desert theatre for over a decade, with standout roles, DTL nominations, and leadership in multiple improv troupes. A dedicated collaborator, he believes in listening, adapting, and lifting volunteers up — values that align perfectly with Inspiration’s Edge.Jericho brings solution-focused leadership, hands-on dedication, and a passion for building a creative home that will serve the desert for generations. For him, IE represents a safe, peaceful space rooted in empathy, co-creativity, and genuine community care.
Looking Ahead Together
As Inspiration’s Edge grows, so does our commitment to our mission: to develop and foster a lifelong love and appreciation for the performing arts through community collaboration.
Our newest board members embody the spirit of that mission. Each brings wisdom, enthusiasm, and a deep belief in what IE is building — not just productions, but relationships, opportunities, and a creative movement in the Hi-Desert.
We are grateful for their leadership and excited for the future we’re creating together.
Welcome to the Edge, Heidi, John, Robert, Emily, and Jericho. We can’t wait to co-create the next chapter with you.
