There are some events that feel less like performances and more like gatherings; moments where a community comes together, breathes together, and shares something quietly extraordinary. This year’s A One-Man Christmas Carol was exactly that.
As we look back on the two intimate evenings inside the historic Twentynine Palms Public Cemetery chapel, our hearts are full.

A heartfelt thank you to John Ferris, whose extraordinary one-man performance once again brought Dickens’ story to life with warmth, skill, and deep family legacy. His dedication to sharing this century-old tradition with our community makes A One-Man Christmas Carol a truly special holiday experience and we are grateful for bringing it to the Hi-Desert each year.
Also a special thank you to The Jingle Belles, whose beautiful caroling filled welcomed our guests with warmth and holiday cheer. Your harmonies set the perfect tone for the evening and added a joyful sparkle to this year’s performances.
And, of course, thank you to the Twentynine Palms Public Cemetery for transforming the historic chapel into such a warm and welcoming holiday haven. Your thoughtful décor, cozy atmosphere, and generous hot chocolate service created the perfect setting for this year’s performances. We are deeply grateful for your partnership and the care you put into making this event feel truly memorable.
Finally, our unendingly gratitude to all of the incredible volunteers who helped make this event possible. From setting up and decorating, to running the box office, to staying late for breakdown, your hard work and generosity shaped every moment of this experience. We’re so grateful for the time, care, and community spirit you bring to Inspiration’s Edge.
