Inspiration’s Edge brought holiday magic to the Hi-Desert with a truly unique production: A One-Man Christmas Carol.

Performed by a single, incredibly talented actor John Ferris (father of IE's co-founder and President Ian Ferris!), this show reimagined Charles Dickens’ classic tale with heart and humor. From Scrooge’s grumpy growl to Tiny Tim’s hopeful cheer, every character came alive in a performance that reminded us all of the story’s timeless message that compassion, generosity, and community are at the heart of the holiday season.

What made this production extra special was its intimacy. With just one performer carrying the entire story, audiences experienced a deeply personal, up-close retelling of this beloved classic. It felt less like watching a play and more like being gathered around a fireside, listening to a timeless Christmas story come to life.
