Late Company Receives Desert Star Award Nominations!

We are thrilled that Late Company, Inspiration’s Edge’s very first fully staged production, has received four nominations from the Desert Theatre League’s 2025 Desert Star Awards!

Best Production – Drama

The Michael Cruickshank Award for Best Director – Drama – Liyan McNeltier

Best Lead Actress – Drama – Rebecca McWilliams

Best Supporting Actor – Drama – Gabriel Figueredo

This deeply moving play tackled grief, accountability, and the complexities of healing with raw honesty and artistic depth — and it was brought to life by a phenomenal cast and creative team who gave it their all. From its intimate debut in Yucca Valley to its encore in Palm Springs, Late Company has been a shining example of what’s possible when community, courage, and storytelling come together.

We are so proud of our nominees, and so grateful to the Desert Theatre League for this honor. Being recognized among so many talented theatre-makers across the Coachella Valley is truly humbling and a powerful affirmation of our mission to bring meaningful, co-creative theatre to the Hi-Desert and beyond.
