What do Shakespeare, fairy wings, and pool noodles have in common? A Midsummer Night’s Splash!
“What fools these mortals be!” — and last night, we were happy to be them. Fools for theatre, fools for fun, and fools for making a difference.
Our Midsummer Night’s Splash fundraiser was everything we hoped for and more. Guests filled the 29 Palms Luckie Park Pool with laughter, live music, games, pizza, and the kind of mischief only a summer night can bring. Fairy wings met pool noodles, and strangers became friends as we celebrated theatre and community under the stars.
And the impact? Incredible. Together, we raised over $1,000 for our upcoming productions! But the real magic wasn’t just in the dollars, it was in the connections we made. We met so many wonderful new faces while celebrating with our ever-faithful supporters; the people who are truly the heart of Inspiration’s Edge.
A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to swim, splash, and support us. And an extra-special shoutout to our volunteers who braved 105° desert heat to make the night happen. You set the stage for an evening we’ll never forget.
This event reminded us exactly why we do what we do: theatre isn’t just about the stage, it’s about the people who gather around it.
Stay tuned! We’re already dreaming up more events that bring our community together to celebrate the arts.
TLDR:
Our Midsummer Night’s Splash at Luckie Park Pool in Twentynine Palms was a magical night of swimming, music, games, and community, raising over $1,000 for future productions! Huge thanks to everyone who came, to our volunteers who braved 105° heat, and to the 29 Palms Parks & Recreation Department for helping make it all possible.
